Friends of the Lake

Phuture Design is pleased to announce the launch of the new Friends of the Lake site. Friends of the Lake is a group of concerned residents of Lake Lillinonah in Connecticut. They are working to eliminate some of the problems the 50-year-old lake is facing. With pollution caused by a neighboring waterway and debris due to changing water levels, their cause is not an easy one.

The new site features an XHTML/CSS driven, user-centric design that takes advantage of Movable Type for content management. The photo section is powered by SlideShowPro, a Flash MX 2004 Professional Component, allowing for easy updating via and XML file. An efficient build process, the site was designed and built in just under 4 weeks.
