About The Project

24Seven is a talent staffing agency which focuses on placing freelance talent into positions in the fashion, health, beauty, home, advertising and marketing industries. With a large roster of talented individuals 24Seven believed they could make this group more effective by providing a community driven website which offered learning events, jobs and general industry resources.

Sherpa Marketing

Working closely with 24Seven and Sherpa Marketing (24Seven's marketing agency), we designed a site that would be this very resource. An engaging design and easy-to-use registration process allows users to become members or premier members. Premier membership has a $39.95 fee attached to it but users can easily make up that cost through great offers on insurance, banking, spas, retail stores and much more.

After being live for less than a year the site already has a large user base members and is growing every day. Many of these members have uploaded their resumes and are often contacted by 24Seven with potential placements for some exciting employers.

Building For The Future

The site was designed and built using XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS. The use of CSS for maintaining text and positioning allows for a standards compliant site that is easy to update and modify.

Back-End development was handled by a third party developer allowing us to focus on the design and user experience. The site remains flexible allowing new types of content to be integrated quickly.

The Corporate Website

24Seven did have a somewhat confusing public face as there is a major difference between their relationship with their freelance community and their actual clients, the employers themselves. Phuture Design also worked with 24Seven to design and produce a corporate site which speaks to their clients. The site design is inline with their existing branding and serves it's purpose well by showcasing their services, talent portfolios and general corporate information.

Ongoing Client Relationship

24Seven and Phuture Design enjoy an ongoing relationship with web and HTML email design projects. By working closely with 24Seven and Sherpa Marketing we are able to leverage upcoming events and promotions across print ads, the web site and HTML emails.
